SRK & Ranbir Kapoor to come together for Russian project?

Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were seen sharing screen space for the first time in recent release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, where the former was in a cameo role. However, it seems that the two actors might be brought together by a Russian producer for a film.

Alexey Petruhin is believed to have approached both Khan and Kapoor for the third instalment of the ‘VIY’ series. The second film had  Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger featuring in it. Petruhin is quoted by Indian Express as saying, “Journey to India is about bringing Russia and India together. It’s a big movie and the budget will be around 40 million US dollars. We were looking for an actor who is like a leader in this industry with his own production house. Like from China, we signed Jackie Chan who is also a producer.”

“So we have approached SRK and I am sure he will be interested in this type of project because it has world-class appeal and the film will be released all over the world. We are awaiting confirmation from him. The another actor we have approached is Ranbir Kapoor. We want to bring SRK and Ranbir together”, he concluded.

No doubt this is big news if the two are being brought together for an international venture but the official confirmation should definitely be awaited before excitement levels increase.
