SRK not keen on directing films yet

With more actors turning to film making, there are a few names that simply are not ready to put on the director’s hat! Despite being crowned the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan seems be be rather happy not sitting in the director’s chair.

Whilst talking to the media, Khan was asked if he had any plans of taking his career down that path. “No not at all. I am a filmmaker in terms of I like making films. I could be someone who can visualise a film but not as a director. I don’t think I am so closely related to emotions,” Asian Age report the actor explain.

He went on to add “A director gives you the emotion and an actor shows it. So it is a different world – an actor takes and a director gives. I don’t think I am giving enough yet to become a director. I am still in the space of an actor where I would like to take some emotion and be the medium for the emotion. I am very far from being a director.”

Khan will next be seen sharing the screen with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, in their second venture as a trio in ‘Zero’.

Talking about the both Sharma and Kaif, Khan expressed, “Anushka is competent, organised and a fantastic actor. She takes things very seriously. Katrina is playing an actress and her characterisation is very different. Fortunately or unfortunately we have not been able to show that in the trailer. For her to go so deep into that dark space is quite amazing. I really hope people love them.”
