SRK no longer a part of Rakesh Sharma biopic’s ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’?

In a surprise turn around of events, Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly opted out of ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’, the biopic on Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.

The film helmed by Siddharth Roy Kapur and directed by Mahesh Mathai, was expected to go on the floors next month, according to DNA India. The report adds that Khan is being lured away by Farhan Akhtar, who is set to announce ‘Don 3’ in the coming days. Due to the date clash, Khan is said to have chosen ‘Don 3’ over ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’.

Interestingly, Khan had taken up the movie on the recommendation of Aamir Khan. Earlier, King Khan said, “I thank Aamir, who was to do the film for calling me and telling me about the role as it would suit me. I will try and spend time with Rakesh Sharma.”
