SRK to give IIFA 2017 a miss

Shah Rukh Khan remained the star attraction at a few IIFA awards ceremonies around the world. However, this year, he’s not going to be attending.

The actor, whose next film is Imtiaz Ali’s next ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is scheduled for release in August, will be busy with film promotions during the IIFA weekend. Also, it appears Khan will be travelling soon after and therefore doesn’t think it’d be feasible to attend the awards too. A source told DNA, “Shah Rukh’s son Aryan broke his nose while playing football at school. Aryan is already on medication, but the doctors have advised him to undergo surgery. SRK will be travelling abroad for that. It has been scheduled around the same time as the award function, and his priorities are very clear. The concerned father will obviously prefer being by his son’s side”.

Khan will be seen romancing Anushka Sharma in the film which releases on 4th August.
