SRK-Deepika recreate ‘DDLJ’ scene for ‘Chennai Express’

You’d be forgiven if you thought that this scene reminded you of the famous train scene between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (1995). Khan and his co-star Deepika Padukone seem to be recreating the same scene for Rohit Shettu’s forthcoming ‘Chennai Express’.

Padukone will be running for the said train and Khan, it is shown, has his arm out whilst on the train ready to lift the lady up onto the carriage. Will the two be able to conjure up the nostalgia associated with the original? It remains to be seen!
