SRK comes to Katrina Kaif’s rescue

Katrina Kaif has always been criticised for her ability to speak Hindi and when the media asked to answer her questions in Hindi during a promotional event of her film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, she became rather uncomfortable. That was until co-star Shah Rukh Khan stepped in in defence.

According to Times of India, when talking about her role,��Kaif began in English, until she was cut off by a media person who shouted, “You are from Hollywood not Bollywood.”

On hearing this Khan stepped in and answered, “She speaks Hindi also. There is no questioning on the language that she speaks. I request you not to do that… don’t get confused with what language the actor speaks in. Whatever they are comfortable in, they have right to do so.”

Releasing today, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ also stars Anushka Sharma, and will mark the last film directed by legendary filmmaker, the late Yash Chopra.
