SRK as lead in Anurag Kashyap’s next?

Anurag Kashyap and Shah Rukh Khan had a meeting thanks to mutual friend Anushka Sharma. Now, it has come to light that Khan has apparently been cast in Kashyap�۪s next venture titled ‘Alvin Kalicharan’.

News doing the round is that Kashyap has written the script especially for Khan. The project was initially meant to take off a decade ago with Anil Kapoor as lead, however, it was put on hold due to financial constraints.

Apparently Sharma was the deciding factor in this development as when she heard Kashyap�۪s script, she felt it would be perfect for Khan. She therefore recommended Khan to Kashyap and it seems the script was adapted accordingly between the two.

An official announcement is awaited.
