Shah Rukh Khan is known for his love for sport and to excite fans further, he posted a picture on his social media, along with music maestro, AR Rahman.
Khan confirmed that he will be attending the opening ceremony of the Hockey Men’s World Cup in November, which takes place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. With the picture posted online earlier today, it now seems that Khan and Raman could be collaborating for possibly a new hockey anthem.
The picture’s caption read, “Spent a few hours with the prides of India, Hockey & @arrahman and the talented #ravivarman Thank u the whole team for making me feel so wonderful. #HeartBeatsForHockey.” And interestingly, he has also tagged the Sanju cinematographer, Ravi Varman in it. This drops a major hint of a great collaboration and we cannot wait to see what it will be all about. Talking about his association with Hockey, the actor said, “Hockey is the song of my heart. It is that time of my youth that is forever etched in my consciousness. I follow the game and watching the game, even now, gets my pulse racing. India is hosting the Hockey World Cup in November at Bhubaneswar, and I am honoured to be a part of hockey at the highest level. We have a young and promising team and they have my unconditional support. They are my heroes and I pledge my heartbeat for India, for the Indian team and for hockey.”
