SRK-Anushka to walk ramp for Mijwan 2017

With the release of Imtiaz Ali’s next just a few months away, it seems the film’s stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma will be walking the ramp for Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt.

Mijwan is Azmi’s NGO and a fashion parade is an annual thing with many well-known names seen taking on the ramp. Manish Malhotra will, once again, be designing Khan and Sharma’s attire. Namrata Goyal, who heads up the NGO along with Azmi, is quoted by Mumbai Mirror, “Today, every girl child in Mijwan wants to either be an entrepreneur, computer engineer or supermodel. Let’s join hands towards a changed India where our girls and boys march together as equals. My heartfelt plea is for all of you to join our movement”.

The show will be held on 5th March.
