SRK-Aanand L Rai’s next film to be partly shot in US?

With ‘Raees’ ready for release, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for his upcoming release directed by Aanand L Rai.

The film tentatively titled ‘The Ring’ will see Khan play the role of a dwarf. DNA India reports that the film will be shot mostly in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, some reports say that the film’s climax will be shot partly in the US over a 15-day schedule in Houston, New York and Atlanta.

A source told the publication, “Rai is in New York for the next 10 days for an elaborate recce. In his last trip, he zeroed in on a few locations for the shoot. He has gone to finalise the spots so that his team can get necessary permissions for the shoot. The film goes on floors in March.”

The source added, “This is just the pre-production stage. The makers are trying to understand feasible options for filming. It is possible that SRK will join Rai for the final technical recce that will take place next month.”
