Sriram Raghavan planning next project

Shyama Sudra

Known for his gripping storylines, Sriram Raghavan has been taking his time with deciding his next project, where it seems he has finally zeroed in on an idea. If news is to be believed, his inspiration comes from a 1961 novel by Frederic Dard called ‘Le Monte-Charge’.

“The opening of the story is similar to Badlapur, where a man returns from jail. But this time he is not seeking revenge. He is caught in a tale where a woman and her child ask him for help and she resembles his ladylove. But Sriram is someone who takes his time on a script,” Deccan Chronicle reports a source reveal.

The source went on to add, “He has multiple ideas and he will make the one that he believes strongly in rather than what film studios want. Once he gets his idea in place, he will start casting and the actors need to believe in him and follow him blindly.”

With the likes of ‘Badlapur’ (2015) and ‘Andhadhun’ (2018) being such big successes, anyone can guess that whoever is offered this next role will only jump at the chance to work with Raghavan
