Sriram Raghavan in talks with Saif Ali Khan for forthcoming project?

Having worked on ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ (2004) and ‘Agent Vinod’ (2012), rumours are rife that Sriram Raghavan and Saif Ali Khan are currently in talks in planning their next venture together.

“Sriram is planning two scripts — one is the biopic on Param Vir Chakra awardee Arun Khetarpal, titled ‘Ekkis’, while the other is a thriller. He and Saif had been discussing about doing a film together for some time. Recently, when they met, the filmmaker bounced off the ideas to the actor. The latter liked both the stories and they have decided to collaborate on one of the projects,” DNA India report a source revealing.

They went on to add, “‘Ekkis’ will mostly have a young actor playing the late lieutenant. There’s also another prominent role in the biopic, which suits Saif. If not this, the actor-director pair will definitely work on the thriller next. They are currently deciding which one to do first. The film is expected to go on floors in 2019.”

However, when Raghavan was contacted to confirm the news, it seems he wants to say mum about his plans for the moment, as he explained, “‘AndhaDhun’ (2018) has just completed 50 days at the box office and we have all been caught up with it. I haven’t got the time to start working on my next immediately. I hope to start a film in 2019. I’m planning two scripts, but we haven’t locked the cast for them yet. We have been talking to different people. We will finalise things in a few weeks from now.”
