Sridevi’s last rites to be performed in Mumbai on 26th February

As tributes continue to pour in for Sridevi who sadly passed away in Dubai on 24th February, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that her last rite will be taking place on 26th February in Mumbai.

Times Now reports that Anil Ambani has sent a plane to bring the actress’s body back to Mumbai from Dubai. The rituals are expected to take place at 11am on Monday morning, at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai.

It’s thought that the actress collapsed in the bathroom of her hotel room and was rushed to hospital right away. Unfortunately, she didn’t survive the trip and took her last breath mid-journey, having suffered a massive cardiac arrest. Sridevi’s brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor has said that her demise was hugely unexpected, especially as she has had no sign of heart problems previously.

Well-known face have been attending the actress’s and her husband Boney Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai to pay their respects. Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor was spotted arriving back in Mumbai earlier today.
