After Sridevi was laid to rest in Mumbai with state honours, the actress’s family will apparently be heading to Chennai today to immerse her ashes.
TOI reports that her husband Boney Kapoor will be accompanied by her family members for the region and the ashes will be immersed in Rameswaram.
It’s thought a chartered flight will take all the family to Chennai to perform the rituals.
Sridevi passed away on 24th February in Dubai, after attending Kapoor’s nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.
