Sridevi’s much talked about comeback movie ‘English Vinglish’ has been postponed by two weeks to avoid a clash at the box office with a string of other releases.

‘English Vinglish’ was due to be released on Friday 21st September alongside Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ and Preity Zinta’s debut home production ‘Ishkq In Paris’. The Rani Mukerji film ‘Aiyya’, which was also to release on the same day has been put back until October-end.

The light-hearted Sridevi film had its teaser poster and first look video hit the tube last week and has received an overwhelming response. The comedy is about a housewife who enrolls herself in an English-speaking course.

‘English Vinglish’ now releases on Friday 5th October.
