Sridevi’s body leaves for Mumbai

After nearly three days of her demise, Sridevi’s body is finally being flown back from Dubai to Mumbai.

Confirming the news, Indian ambassador to UAE, Navdeep Suri said on Twitter:

“After completion of all local processes, mortal remains of #Sridevi are now on enroute to Mumbai.
Must acknowledge sterling efforts of CG Vipul and team @cgidubai
Thanks to example set by Min @SushmaSwaraj we quietly do the same for any Indians in distress.
We care.”

The funeral of the late actress takes place at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, Next to Pawan Hans, SV Road, Vile Parle West, tomorrow at 15:30.
