Sridevi to appear on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’

Sridevi has been confirmed to appear on Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s hit gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) to promote her upcoming film ‘English Vinglish’ (2012).

The 49-year old superstar has previously starred alongside ‘KBC’ host, Amitabh Bachchan, in films like ‘Khuda Gawah’ (1992), ‘Aakhree Raasta’ (1986) and ‘Inquilab’ (1984). In ‘English Vinglish’, Bachchan plays a cameo in the actress’ comeback movie.

The shooting of the special episode takes place in Mumbai today, with a telecast in the coming days to coincide with the cinema release of ‘English Vinglish’ on Friday 5th October.
