Legendary actress Sridevi passes away suddenly in Dubai

Bollywood’s legendary and much-loved actress Sridevi has passed away suddenly aged 54. The actress is believed to have passed away after a major cardiac arrest in Dubai.

She was in Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi, attending Mohit Marwah’s wedding to Antara. She had shared a few photos just within the last few days on her Instagram page. Well-wishers are rushing to Sridevi’s house in Mumbai to be by her elder daughter Janhvi’s side at this devastating time.

Sridevi was known for her contribution to South cinema as well as Bollywood. She made her on-screen debut in 1969’s ‘Thunaivan’ as a child artiste. Her most recent outing was last year in ‘Mom’, produced by her husband’s banner. She is also believed to have shot for a cameo part in the forthcoming ‘Zero’, which stars Shah Rukh Khan.
