Sridevi in Sabyasachi for ‘English Vinglish’ premiere

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee is no stranger to film premieres having dressed the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan. BizAsia has learnt that he will be designing a very special outfit for none other than Sridevi for the ‘English Vinglish’ premiere due to take place on 14th September in Toronto.

R Balki’s film, which will see Sridevi making a comeback, has been selected to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. It has been reported by Times of India that the actress made a special request to the designer who is designing an exquisite sari for her for premiere night.

‘English Vinglish’ surrounds the story of a lady who is on a quest to learn English and the insecurities and obstacles she faces in the journey. Much of the film has been shot in New York.
