Yakeen Ka Safar

One of Hum TV’s biggest fictions recently, ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’, proved a huge success during its run in 2017. The show’s biggest attraction was its lead pair Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly. The show is about three families, battling with devils, devils within and outside. Zubia Khalil, a young girl who witnessed her mother murdered by her father, yet she can’t say a single word. An educated family which is struggling to find its place in this double standard society. Last but not the least, a poor village girl, who is gang raped and left for dead by powerful and corrupt people of the village, trying to find justice. What happens next is a struggle, which may or may not result in good people winning.

Easily one of the biggest successes in the thriller genre for Pakistani television, ‘Balaa’ on ARY Digital emerged as a huge ratings puller. The show, which ran in 2018, stars Bilal Abbas Khan, Ushna Shah, Azekah Daniel, Samina Peerzada and Sajid Hassan. It follows the story of a limping girl who destroys the lives of people around her due to her own insecurities and imperfections.
The series consists of 40 episodes.

Alif

Popular romantic series ‘Alif’, which recently concluded on Geo TV, consistently delivered good numbers for the broadcaster. The show starring some huge names including Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan and Ahsan Khan, revolved around the journey of a rebellious film-maker and a struggling actress, both having disturbed pasts. The show had a spiritual backdrop illustrating the bond of an individual with its God.

Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb

This mysterious thriller, ‘Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb’ went on to become a big success for Hum TV. The popular fiction was based on multiple personality disorder and revolved mainly around the central character Zahid Ahmed. It also stars Sonya Hussain and Sami Khan. The show with its unique concept went on to win hearts, which ended its run on Hum TV in January 2020.
