SP Balasubrahmanyam, an Indian playback singer and actor has hit the headlines over his recent comments on the actresses of the industry.
Also known as Balu, the singer has landed into trouble over his controversial remarks on the actresses about the choice of their clothes. Reports quote Balasubrahmanyam as saying, “These days, actresses don’t know what kind of dress they should wear for film events. Should their behaviour be taken as an act of innocence? Or do they think that only if they wear revealing outfits will heroes and directors give them opportunities? We have reached an all-time low.”
He went on to add, “I wouldn’t mind even if my comments anger the heroines. In any case, most of them don’t know Telugu, so they won’t understand my comments.” Balasubrahmanyam went on to say he is not scared about what the actresses would react as he thinks that some of them don’t understand Telugu, reports Pinkvilla.
Balasubrahmanyam was last seen in Telugu-language action comedy ‘Devadas’ (2018) which released in September. Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film featured Nagarjuna Akkineni, Nani, Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh.
