Sourav Ganguly on being extra cautious over coronavirus during IPL 2020

With the coronavirus outbreak continuing to cause havoc on the global economy, it now seems the Indian Premier League (IPL) is taking extra precautions to ensure a smooth run of the tournament.

IPL 2020 gets underway at the end of this month and the BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly said that the series will be going ahead as planned but will be mindful about the deadly virus.

He was cited in CricInfo saying, “It’s on…and BCCI will take all protection (against coronavirus).”

In India, over 30 people have been tested positive for coronavirus.
