Sourav Ganguly biopic confirmed; Ranbir Kapoor favourite to essay role?

Cricket veteran Sourav Ganguly has given the green light for biopic to be made on his life, BizAsiaLive.com can confirm.

Ganguly spoke to News18 and said, “Yes, I have agreed to the biopic. It will be in Hindi but it is not possible to say the name of the director now. It will take a few more days for arranging everything”.

Apparently Ganguly went on to add Ranbir Kapoor’s name as a favourite to play him on screen but he isn’t the only one being considered. It’s thought the script for the film is being written currently.

It’s thought that Ganguly’s career up until him reaching the post of BCCI President will be shown in the film.
