Sooraj Pancholi is no longer reportedly in the running to star in the remake of Telugu superhit ‘Prasthanam’ (2010) alongside Sanjay Dutt.

The remake, directed by Deva Katta, was supposed to cast Dutt and Pancholi as a father-son duo. However, according to a source, “The makers were eager to have Sanjay and Sooraj play the role of father and son in the film. Now, there has been a change in casting and Sooraj is no longer part of this project. The makers are looking for some other actor to play Sanjay’s son in the film,”, Deccan Chronicle reported. It is unclear why Pancholi was not finalized for the role.

Dutt is currently busy on the sets of ‘Kalank’, while Pancholi is preparing for his next film ‘Time To Dance’.
