Sooraj Pancholi: “I’m in a relationship”

Sooraj Pancholi had much reported about him after the death of his former girlfriend Jiah Khan. He’s since made his Bollywood debut and is gearing up for his next movies. He’s also admitted that he’s in a relationship now.

Pancholi confirmed this to Filmfare, “I’m in a relationship. She’s a not from this industry. She’s a nice girl. Well, guess the paparazzi haven’t caught us yet. I always wanted my partner to be a simple person. She can do what she wants, wear what she wants, work wherever she wants. I wanted a simple soul and I guess I’ve found her”.

Things have changed from him after he was shrouded by so much controversy. He says, “Now if there’s one bad comment, there are 50 defending me. This kind of support makes it all worth it”.

Pancholi also spoke about the struggles he is constantly going through, “My father is not a producer. I can’t afford to make mistakes. Also, the times have changed. The larger-than-life-hero image is fading off. The ones who’re taking that image forward are the ones who’ve been doing it for long like Salman (Khan) sir, Shah Rukh (Khan) sir, Ajay (Devgn) sir, Akshay (Kumar) sir. They can pull it off. I’m trying to do a sensible film, not trying to be over smart and do something out-of-the-box”.
