Sooraj Pancholi has been acquitted in the Jiah Khan death case at a Mumbai court.
Khan was found hanging at her Juhu home on 3rd June 2013. Subsequently, Pancholi, who was in a relationship with Khan, was arrested and booked for abetment of suicide. Khan’s mother, Rabia Khan claimed that her daughter was murdered by him.
Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court judge AS Sayyad declared, “Due to paucity of evidence, Sooraj Pancholi is acquitted”.
