Sooraj Barjatya on next film with Salman Khan

Successful filmmaker, Sooraj Barjatya teamed up with Salman Khan in last year’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ after a 16-year gap, however, Barjatya has confirmed his next with the superstar will not take as long.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Barjatya confirmed he was working on a script but it was early days. He said, “There is something (in the pipeline with Salman) but there is some time for it. I want to do a film with Salman but I have my TV commitments, which are very important.”

Barjatya added, “I haven’t spoken to him about it because we are still in the development stage. It takes me a while. My zone is not in a genre which one can call workable. We both want to do something which keeps the values up regardless of the commercial success. That is our struggle.”

Barjatya is currently producing Colors’ upcoming show ‘Swabhimaan’, which kicks off next week.
