Sooraj Barjatya confirms new Salman Khan film for 2020

Legendary filmmaker, Sooraj Barjatya is reuniting with Salman Khan for a new family entertainer in 2020.

Khan was last seen in Barjatya’s film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). Confirming the developments, Barjatya told a leading daily, “I have discussed the primary idea with Salman. It’s going to be a family drama, and not an action film. All I can say is that it will have all the necessary ingredients that a Rajshri production has emotions, drama and a lot of music.”

He added, “It is going to be my most satisfying film.”

“But right now, I am concentrating on my younger son Avnish’s career; he will make his directorial debut soon,” added Barjatya.

Khan is expected to reprise the iconic role of ‘Prem’, synonymous with all the films he has done under the Rajshri banner.
