Sony’s Friday nights to become ‘mythological’

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has a new property occupying the Friday 20:00 slot Mann Mein Hai Visshwas۪ which will go on air on 18th August 2006.

The show will showcase real life incidents experienced by people, with television actor Nitish Bharadwaj (of Lord Krishna in Mahabharat۪ fame) as host. Previously the Friday 20:00 slot was occupied by the succesful run of ‘Deal Ya No Deal’.

Commenting on the new show, N P Singh, COO, SET India, said ωMann Mein Hai Visshwas۪, with its mixed package of mythology, drama and reality, will carve its own niche in the prime time band. Mythological shows are usually telecast in the mornings, but due to this unique blend of realism and mythology this show will surely capture the viewer۪s attention.۝

MMHV is produced by Creative Eye Production, which had earlier produced mythological shows like Om Namoh Shivay۪, Jap Tap Vrat۪, Om Namoh Narayan۪, and Shree Ganesh۪, among others.

With a strong anchor support like Nitish Bharadwaj for a show that blends mythology with real life, Mann Mein Hai Visshwas۪ will prove to be a very engaging show to watch out for amidst the saas-bahu sagas,۝ said Dheeraj Kumar, producer of the show.
