Sony-ZEE not reviving merger talks
ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has denied rumours that it is reviving its $10 billion merger talks with Sony Pictures Networks.
In a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, ZEEL branded the reports “factually incorrect”.
The statement said, “We would like to clarify that the company has not involved in any negotiations, or any other event as stated in the above-mentioned article, and we categorically confirm that the abovementioned news item is factually incorrect.”
