Sony TV UK to re-run old hit shows from this week

Riding high in UK ratings, Sony Entertainment Television has announced its latest programming strategy by re-running three popular “classic” shows, starting this week.

BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal that Sony TV UK will ramp up its early evening programme schedule with ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’ (17:00), ‘Beyhadh’ (17:30) and ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ (Season one) (18:00). The shows will air between 17:00 – 18:30 from Wednesday 6th March 2019.

Sony TV is hoping the new schedule will continue luring viewers away from rival channels. Recently, the broadcaster has been eating away into Star Plus’ share, and has come close to overtaking it at No.1 in weekly reach figures.
