Sony TV UK fills up vacant primetime slots with repeat & rerun shows
Sony TV UK has announced a revamped primetime schedule following the sudden cancellation of three original shows. As of Monday, 9th September, the broadcaster will fill the gaps with reruns of popular shows from its archives.
The updated schedule kicks off with earlier episodes of ‘Shrimad Ramayan’ airing at 18:00, followed by a re-run of ‘Katha Ankahee’ at 18:30. The legal drama ‘Raisinghani Vs Raisinghani’, originally available on SonyLIV, will air double episodes between 19:00 and 20:00. Two beloved Sony SAB TV classics, ‘Pashminna – Dhaage Mohobbat Ke’ and ‘Aangan Aapno Kaa’, will occupy the 20:00 to 21:00 slot, leading into the new season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00.
These temporary changes are in place as Sony TV UK prepares to introduce a refreshed schedule in October, timed to coincide with the festive season.

The reworking comes after three shows—’Kavya’, ‘Jubilee Talkies’, and ‘Pukaar’ were abruptly pulled from the Sony TV lineup and moved to the OTT platform SonyLIV. Fans of the shows can now continue following them online.
