Sony TV tweaks primetime line-up with two new show launches

Sony Entertainment Television has tweaked its programming line-up in the UK to accommodate the launch of its two new shows ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ and the new season of ‘Crime Patrol’.

As of Monday 15th July, Sony TV will be launching ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ will take the 20:30 slot, which will result in the re-run of ‘Beyhadh’ at 20:30 shifting to 18:00. Meanwhile, the hugely popular socio-series ‘Crime Patrol’ sees the return of host Annup Sonii.

Talking about his comeback on the show, Sonii said, “I was associated with the show for seven years before I decided to take a break and focus on my other projects. It feels great to be a part of the show again after 15 months.”

He added, “Just like the previous season, this season will also talk about how small incidences trigger a normal person to commit a crime which can be a reflection of their frustration or emotional imbalances. There is a thin line between a normal person and a criminal mind. It just depends on the thought, how an attempt to pull the other person down is erroneous but thinking to rise above the other person through one’s own efforts is perfectly okay.”

The new series called ‘Crime Patrol Sartak’ will return in the new time slot of 22:30, with ‘Patiala Babes’ and ‘Ladies Special’ airing for 45 minutes each between 21:00 – 22:30 (UK).

Sony TV currently stands at No.2 but is now regularly overtaking Star Plus at No.1 in daily share numbers.
