Sony Entertainment Television Asia is shifting its underperforming show ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ to a late night slot to make way for new addition ‘Byah Hamari Bahu Ka’.

‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ – the Indian adaptation of Pakistani drama ‘Dhoop Kinare’ will be moved from its 20:00 slot to 23:00 in the coming days. The show’s repeat is currently aired at 23:00 and generates a higher viewership for the channel at that time more than the original.

‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ started with actor Mohnish Behl playing the character of Ashutosh, who soon left over health issues. Sharad Kelkar replaced the actor and plays the male lead opposite Kritika Kamra.

‘Byah Hamari Bahu Ka’ is about Krish and Rajnibala who fall in love and get married. Krish from a rich family and Rajnibala from a poor one. It shows the journey of Rajninala and how she adapts to new surroundings.

The changes are expected to take place by the end of this month.
