Sony TV to replace ‘TKSS’ with ‘India’s Laughter Champion’ in June

Sony TV has confirmed the launch of ‘India’s Laughter Champion’, which will temporary replace ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as it takes a season break.

The show fronted by Shekhar Suman and Archana Puran Singh, will air in the weekend slot of 21:30, from Saturday 11th June. This will be Suman and Singh’s reunion after ‘Comedy Circus’ many years ago. New episodes of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ have been put on hold due to Sharma’s other work commitments, which includes a world tour.

In the promo, Archana is seen saying, “Main le ke aa rahi hoon ek naya show (I am bringing a new show).” She is soon interrupted by Shekhar Suman, and she soon corrects herself. “Hum dono le kar aa rahe hain ek naya show sirf Sony par (We are bringing a new show only on Sony).”
