Sony TV to launch new weekend music show

Sony Entertainment Television Asia will be launching a musical show, which will simply see seven professional celebrity singers performing for the viewers.

The show will see seven singers namely Kailash Kher, Kunal Ganjawala, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sukhwinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan performing for five weeks.

The musical show that is being hosted by Mini Mathur will have each singer showcasing some of his /her favorite songs, solo or duet, singing with an aspiring fan, singing a request song by the audience…all interspersed with interesting anecdotes and milestones from the singer�۪s musical career.

Sony Entertainment Television EVP and business head Albert Almeida said, “Over the years the country has seen some truly magical talent. ‘Yeh Shaam Mastani’ will occupy the Friday – Sunday 21:00 slot, starting 3rd May.
