Sony Entertainment Television Asia has come up trumps at the PromaxBDA awards by bagging 19 awards.
Seven of those were Gold. Sony TV made a clean sweep in the best comedy and best entertainment promo for ‘Twinkle Beauty Parlour’ and ‘Fame X’. It also swept in the best holiday, seasonal special promo. MAX’s ‘Cricket Is Back’ campaign for last year’s ‘Champions Trophy’ won Gold. The promo for ‘Fame X The Hermit’ on SAB won Silver.
SAB bagged both awards for best launch campaign for ‘Twinkle Beauty Parlour’ and ‘Fame X’. ‘Twinkle Beauty Parlour’ also won a silver for best print ad. MAX won both awards in the Best Sports Promo category for ‘Come Play’ and ‘Cricket is Back’. The former captured the West Indies spirit ahead of the World Cup.
