Sony TV has confirmed the return of fresh episodes of its original shows, starting from this Saturday (18th July) with ‘India’s Best Dancer’.
Like other broadcasters, Sony TV filled its schedule with re-runs of old shows during the coronavirus lockdown. With shooting of most shows underway again, Sony TV will bring back new episodes of its popular weekend dance reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’ in the 20:00 slot. The channel’s other weekend flagship programme, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is not expected to begin until late July or early August.
Starting from Monday 20th July, Sony TV will revive its original fictions with ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, ‘Mere Sai’ and ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh’. Reports suggest that the latter two shows will return in 45 minute blocks but this is yet to be confirmed.
Other prime time slots on Sony TV will be filled by re-runs after the broadcaster axed ‘Beyhadh 2’, ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ and ‘Patiala Babes’ abruptly during the lockdown.
