Sony TV now axes ‘Bhaskar Bharti’

After our report yesterday that ‘Ladies Special’ on Sony Entertainment Television Asia was being axed, the latest to meet its fate is ‘Bhaskar Bharti’.

Both shows launched with much fanfare when the channel unveiled a new on-air look, now both will be ending this month, alongside a few others.

Ragini Khanna who plays the lead confirmed the news and told TellyChakkar, “Please, don�۪t ask me the reason because even I don�۪t know it.”

She adds, “I have given my 1000 percent to Bhaskar Bharti and have done my bit for the show. It�۪s the channel�۪s call to decide its fate. I am just an actor.”

While ‘Jeet Jayenge Hum’ starts on Monday 14th December replacing ‘Ladies Special’, it is not yet known what will replace ‘Bhaskar Bharti’. The latter comes to an end on Thursday 17th December.
