Sony TV launches ‘Indian Idol’ in December

Sony Entertainment Television has confirmed the launch of its huge reality series ‘Indian Idol 9’.

Taking advantage of its new logo unveil this evening, the broadcaster announced ‘Indian Idol 9’ will air from Christmas Eve – Saturday 24th December at 20:00. It will replace ‘Super Dancer’, which currently occupies the timeslot.

‘Indian Idol 9’ will see the return of original mentors – Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam and Farah Khan reuniting for the new series.

Earlier this evening, Sony TV unveiled its biggest revamp with a new channel identity and on-screen packaging to coincide with its 21st year anniversary.
