Sony TV to launch ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ later this month?

Sony Entertainment Television is rumoured to be gearing up for the launch of its hugely popular gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ later this month.

BizAsiaLive.com understands that the Amitabh Bachchan show is set to launch on or around Monday 28th August. However, the channel is still said to be weighing in all the options to either launch this month or put it back until the first week of September.

‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is expected to take the 21:00 weekday slot, when it returns. This will lead to two fictions in its current line-up facing the axe or moving time slots.
