Sony TV confirms new movie acquisitions

Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s parent company, Multi Screen Media has acquired the rights for new blockbusters that will be broadcasting on the network in the coming months.

After broadcasting hit movies like ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, ‘Talaash’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’, the company has confirmed it has bought the rights of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ – this year’s biggest hit so far, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. The broadcaster has also acquired unreleased movies ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara’ and ‘Krrish 3’ to telecast on the channel next year.

The recently released action thriller ‘Shootout At Wadala’ will also air exclusively on the network in the coming weeks.
