Sony Entertainment Television Asia is revamping its schedule and the first to exit from the line-up is ‘Jee Le Zara’, which has barely been on air for seven months.
The show, which stars Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaz, will be ending in June. An actor requesting anonymity said, “I have no clue about this development. I am shocked as we were told that the show’s contract will end in June.”
Times Of India has reported Mumtaz saying, “I wouldn’t know the reason. All I know is that my dates from June are free. When I inquired regarding my dates, I was told I can allot them to others.”
Mumtaz said his contract would initially have ended in August and he would have quit then. He will now look at other offers. He starts shooting for new show ‘Romeo Idiot Jattani Juliet’ in June.
