Sony TV announces replacement for ‘MasterChef India’ for UK viewers
As revealed on BizAsiaLive.com earlier this month, Sony TV will not be broadcasting the reality show ‘MasterChef India’ due to rights restrictions.
BizAsiaLive.com can now reveal its new primetime schedule, which will be effective from Monday 2nd January 2023. New show ‘Shark Tank India’ will take the 21:00 slot, while SonyLIV original series ‘Shrikant Bashir’, which streamed in 2020, will take a 45-minute slot from 22:30. ‘Tera Kya Goga Alia’ will re-run at 22:00.
‘Shrikant Bashir’ was written by Shiraz Ahmed and helmed by Santosh Shetty. It stars Gashmeer Mahajani, Pooja Gaur, Ashmita Jaggi, and Yudhishthir Singh in the lead roles.
