Sony TV acquires rights to Umang 2020; to air this week

After earlier being aired on ZEE TV, the annual Umang has this year been acquired by Sony Entertainment Television.

Umang 2020 is an event to honour the police for their hard work and service. This year, the event included appearances from Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, along with newcomers Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon.

Kapoor was seen bringing Chopra Jonas in for a photo-op after she whizzed past photographers. The superstar actor was wearing a policeman costume, as a way to promote his next film ‘Malang’.

Umang 2020 will air on Sony TV this Sunday, 26th January. It is hosted by Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek.
