Sony secures Sensations concert TV rights

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has walked away with the TV rights to this weekend’s star-studded Bollywood concert Sensations, it has been announced today.

The channel will be telecasting the show, which sees performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee amongst others. The concert takes place this weekend at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena and London’s Wembley.

The concert is a huge coup for the channel who is currently undergoing many programming changes. In June, the channel is launching up to ten new shows to spruce up its schedule. Sony Entertainment Television Asia has been riding high on the success of its India vs Pakistan cricket coverage earlier this year.

Sensations will be shown exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television Asia on Sunday 26th June at 20:00.
