Sony SAB TV to launch new nightly show ‘Goodnight India’

Amidst increased work pressures and soaring stress levels today, sound sleep has become a rarity. Having a relaxing end to a busy day that ensures complete well-being is thus more integral now than ever. And this is where Sony SAB has got us covered! With a promise of inducing positivity and a relaxing frame of mind as you call it a day, the channel is all set to launch ‘Goodnight India;, launching on 31st January onwards to ensure viewers get their daily dose of happiness and joy. The show manifests Meethi Si Hassi and Achhi Neend via its content to evoke emotions of happiness, encouraging you to de-stress and unwind after a hectic workday and highlighting the idea of goodness that prevails over dark times.

Hosted by ace stand-up performer Amit Tandon and popular TV actress Jiya Shankar, Goodnight India will see a series of bone-tickling acts performed by well-known artists on some of the contemporary and relatable topics. Basis the themes for each of the episodes introduced by the hosts, the show will have talented humorists perform sets or hasya kavitas, showcasing a fine blend of wit, humor, and satire. A special late-night show for families, Goodnight India aims at helping viewers to relax and savour the last 30 mins of their day by delivering fun-filled performances, putting a smile on their faces, and calming their minds before they fall asleep. The show will focus on subjects like mid-life crisis, relationships, daily routine observations, amongst others, each episode will see 3 performances by the talented artistes and will also have a perfect combination of open mic as well as thematic episodes.

‘Goodnight India’ adds on to Sony SAB’s stirring line-up of shows that aim to inspire, entertain, and spread the Khushiyon Wali Feeling through its concept.
