Sony reveals some ‘Bigg Boss’ contestants

Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s big ticket show ‘Bigg Boss’- the desi version of reality programme Big Brother is generating sky high curiosity.

According to reports in Indian press today, Sony TV has revealed the names of some of the contestants who will be taking part in the much talked about show.

Out of the thirteen contestants taking part, Mid-Day has reported four names including item dance girl Rakhi Sawant, Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kissen, Karan Wahi and Vinod Kambli. Another nine names are being sought and will be announced by the channel next week. BizAsia.co.uk will keep readers up to date as contestants are finalised for the mega show.

A spokesman working on the show told Mid-Day; “We had a major problem finding celebrities who have the time and willingness to sit in a house for three months. None of the contestants are aware about who else is going to be in the house with them. They۪ve all been kept in the dark about the other competitors.”

Unlike the international version, the Indian format will be edited and censored. “Keeping the viewers۪ sensibilities in mind, there won۪t be any nudity on the show. The episode isn۪t live but deferred by a day. We will edit whatever footage we get and then broadcast it.”

‘Bigg Boss’ begins on Sony Entertainment Television Asia in early November.
