Sony Pictures Networks has announced the closure of English entertainment channel, AXN.
The company is said to be restructuring its operations after it closed music channel, Sony Mix earlier this year.
In an official statement, the company said, “In keeping with our growth strategy, we are realigning our channel portfolio. Accordingly, we have decided to discontinue AXN and AXN HD. This decision comes into effect on June 30, 2020.”
AXN, which has been broadcasting since 1999, will shutdown on 30th June 2020.
