Sony Music acquires three Yash Raj Films titles

Sony Music Entertainment has acquired the worldwide digital audio and video distribution rights of Yash Raj Films�۪ forthcoming three releases – ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ and ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’.

With the alliance in place, Sony Music will leverage its entire
digital delivery bandwidth for offering audio and audio visual music content of these films on mobile devices and other mobile platforms.

It will also offer audio content through the Internet via streaming services and legal online download applications.

Audiences will not only be able to set their favourite songs as their ringtones but also watch it while on the move either on their mobile phones or through live streaming on the Internet.

“With the huge demand the music of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan has created, the songs of Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl promise to be as exciting,” said the company in a statement.
